A Traditional Goan Farm
Mahamaya is a holistic organic farm located in Sal-Bicholim in North Goa. Fed by the fresh waters of the River Chapora, it was set up in 2010 by Shrinivas and Pallavi Dempo.
Mahamaya is committed to creating an environment-friendly food system and promoting awareness among locals, especially students on sustainable practices in agriculture.

Mahamaya at Serendipity Art Fest 2019
This year, Mahamaya farm was invited to display our produce at the Serendipity Art Festival 2019. For the first year, the prestigious multi-disciplinary festival hosted a Farmers’ Market at the Art Park in Panjim.
The Mahamaya exhibit showcased our organic produce including coconuts, pepper, beetle nuts, chilies, sweet potatoes, cashews and amlas.
WHAT WE DO
Modern Dairy
A modern dairy farm was set up in 2014 with Jersey and Holstein-Friesian and Gir cows.
Organic Farm
Since 2012, our farm has been using organic methods to cultivate all our produce.
Nursery
The nursery produces seedlings and grafts of various fruit and vegetable plants for sale.
